We had a fantastic weekend at Highkettle Hut, a charming shepherd's hut in beautiful countryside. The hut was well-equipped and comfortable with a lovely enclosed garden for our dog. The views were amazing and the welcome package was a thoughtful touch. The owner, Ian, was friendly and welcoming. There were also great places to walk our dog in the fields nearby. We would definitely book again!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I recently had the most delightful stay at a charming shepherd's hut nestled in the beautiful countryside. The hut was impeccably clean, comfortable, and provided the perfect amount of privacy for a peaceful retreat. I couldn't help but adore the enclosed garden where my furry companion could roam freely. The hosts, Ian and Carina, were incredibly thoughtful and even provided some lovely provisions. From watching the cows in the fields to the pheasant strolling by in the evenings, every moment at Highkettle Hut was simply idyllic. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a truly memorable getaway.
